The dress is made from a large rectangular fabric, folded into two then stitched together inches from the side edges. Like any other handmade batiks, there may be washable remaining wax, smearing and irregularity which add to its uniqueness.

Love this!
So pleased with my Malacca poncho top. It is described as buttersoft, and it definately is. It flows beautfiully and is so comfortable on. I didn't know that rayon was as breathable as cotton which is great news! This is my 2nd purchase from Cool Kaftans and I will certainly be buying more.
