Should fit UK sizes 14, 16 , 18 onwards onwards up to UK size 34 or up to US30 or 5X. The best way to ensure it works for you is to look at the dress's measurements below, before purchasing and allow 6 inches for relaxed fit wear.

The dress is made from a large rectangular fabric which folded into two then stitched together a few cm or inches from the edges. Over the chest area with an extra layer of fabric with beautiful tassels. Shades may vary slightly and like any other handmade batiks, there may be occasional remaining wax which is washable. There may also be occasional slight smearing of colour and irregularity which adds to its uniqueness.

My third one of these!
This is my third purchase of one of these. They are so striking and comfortable, they are my go to choice for wearing around the house and garden on summer evenings. After about 4 years of washing and wearing, my blue one has frayed a little at the neck, so I have replaced it with the equally gorgeous purple one. The extra layer over the bust makes it especially flattering and acts as a modesty layer! I have never been disappointed with a purchase from Cool Kaftans, but I think this design is my very favourite. Just one observation: the pattern on my blue and white kaftans is black. On my new purple One, it’s dark navy,which looks great with the purple. Great communication and swift delivery too. You won’t be waiting weeks for your purchase, in fact, you might be wearing it tomorrow!!

Great drape and comfort
My daughter gave me the brown one for my birthday and I liked it so much I got it in purple and in blue. The tassel detail across the front is a nice touch. Length is good for me (I’m 5’6”) but could easily be hemmed up. The fabric has a luxurious feel and enough weight to drape well. It could be improved with a couple of deep POCKETS, and also a label with fibre content as a laundry guide. I haven’t washed it yet but will hand-wash and hang as I’d hate it to shrink, fade or bleed onto other clothing. I wear it at home but would be happy to wear it on social occasions as it’s quite elegant. A good price too. Delivery was quick and packaging was sensibly minimal.

I am a older german woman and so is my english terrible, but I try to write a review. I bought many clothes over coolkaftan and I like these products. They say it is handwash, but I put all clothes into the washing maschine and in the dryer maschine too. So I don´t need to iron. All clothes are still alive and looking great. Many thanks. I infected my gf´s and my daughter and I hope it will be not a problem to order after the brexit. I cross my fingers and wish all the best!

I already have this Kaftan in the Purple and I am equally pleased with the Blue. It is good quality and fits well and is so comfortable on. I am a very big lady and these Kaftans are perfect to hind all of lifes imperfections. I can't thank this company enough for makeing such a gorgeous product for the larger figured woman.
