The dress is made from a large rectangular fabric, folded into two then stitched together inches from the side edges. Like any other handmade batiks, there may be washable remaining wax, smearing and irregularity which add to its uniqueness.

So elegant and striking.
I love this kaftan so much, than when my first one became a bit faded after about 5 years of washing and wearing, I bought another identical one. I love to wear something comfortable yet stylish in the evening and these kaftans are perfect for a bit of instant glamour. They’re also lovely and cool on a hot summer evening.They drape beautifully and are really flattering. The lime green on this one gives it a stylish edge and actually looks even nicer than in the picture. I machine wash mine with no problem but hand washing might prevent it fading ( after 5 years!). Delivery is also fast.

I have many items from these folks, this one might be my favorite, it's gorgeous and 100% rayon, no polyester. Ew. You won't regret a purchase from these folks, especially for the price
